A Weather Report.

For years I've been wanting to work with text and image as a standalone form.

Inspired by stills with subtitles, images alongside associative text and also artworks that are purely text but that describe a scene as if in big print… I've collected dozens of beautiful examples, but I’ve been hesitant to experiment with it in recent times.

Part of the process of the larger work I'm currently making now is taking fragments of (mostly disjointed) text I've written for the work over the past months for the project, and to use them as triggers for a spine of poem-scenes I now know I want to write.

But this process is now also leading me to exploring other fragments from this work (and my archives from over the years) and to make tiny experiments with them in forms that they feel like they are a little curious to dream into.

So here is an early tiny experiment in fragments. A weather report.
