INTRUSION

A woman enters a room to art direct a fashion shoot. There has been a trauma the night before, but the details of it are fragmented and unclear.

As the film continues, the woman enters  the room again and again, piecing her memory together. As she does so, a bigger, more terrifying picture emerges.

"Intrusion" is the second short film from Ming-Zhu Hii. A stylish and subtle psychological thriller, it examines power and violence in the fashion world, and the obligations on women to perpetuate cycles of violence and objectification of their own and others' bodies.

INTRUSION premiered at Heartland's inaugural Indy Shorts International Film Festival in July 2018 as a Narrative Finalist. INTRUSION won Best Experimental Film at LA Shorts in August 2018.
